Chef de Partie (CDP)

Location: The 3 Acres, Huddersfield

The Three Acres has been a Yorkshire institution since 1968,  a family-run inn, restaurant and hotel that has been in the Truelove family for over 50 years. In 2025 we reopened after a full rebuild with a completely reimagined kitchen, our new Oyster Bar, and a Josper charcoal grill at its heart and the same year we were named The Yorkshire Post’s Hospitality Business of the Year and awarded an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence alongside AA Five Silver Stars.

We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie to run a section in a brand new, bespoke kitchen,  one of the strongest in Yorkshire, and we’d argue further afield too. You’ll work closely with Head Chef Tom Davies, cooking with genuinely excellent, fresh ingredients one of the finest kitchen spaces in Yorkshire

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high, Rosette standard
  • Running your own section and keeping service smooth under pressure
  • Contributing to menu development and daily specials
  • Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, health and safety
  • Mentoring and supporting junior chefs, working closely with the Senior Sous Chefs

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, as part of a tight-knit team
  • Strong organisational skills and a positive, can-do attitude
