Hi everyone, Tom & Lauren here.
As we approach the Christmas season (how has that crept up so quickly?), we’re delighted to be able to share our latest progress update with you as we come towards the end of what’s been a very busy year.
Last time we wrote, we’d just received the renders for our new state-of-the-art kitchen that we shared with you here.
The kitchen is the beating heart of The 3 Acres, and as most of you will know, it was destroyed in the Boxing Day fire – so the first major job on the list was to, quite literally, rebuild it!
So, it is with smiles beaming from ear to ear, that we share the news that the walls and roof of what will be our brand-new kitchen are now complete – marking a major milestone in our refurbishment journey.
We have also completed our first-fix electrical, plumbing and carpentry work, meaning we’re now ready to progress with plastering and get cracking on the inside of the building!

The photographs you see below show our new roof over the newly created kitchen at the back of the Acres and, while they might not be the most exciting pictures, we’re sure you’ll appreciate just how much joy they spark in both of us and the whole team here at The 3 Acres.
Our principal contractor, Radcliffe Construction, has made excellent progress with the schedule of works, and we are delighted to now have a reconfigured kitchen space that is ready for our brand-new kitchen from Greens Commercial Kitchens to be fitted at the start of next year.
If you haven’t already, why not find out a little more about what’s in store for our new kitchen in our Q&A with Tom, here?
We’ll be in touch again soon.
